STUDIO MANAGEMENT
For artists.
Bespoke, remote, flexible.
We work with artists to support their studio, projects and career outlook. We build capacity, reinforce boundaries and support an artist’s career development through 4 core pillars:
Gallery & Institutional Relations
Liaising is at the heart of what we do. As studio managers, we act as the first point of contact for galleries, public and private institutions, advocating for each artist we work with to ensure fair terms are set and met. This includes:
Reviewing all contracts and negotiating their terms
Overseeing budgets, incoming and outgoing payments
Managing all projects from start to finish
Reviewing all exhibition materials including texts, press releases and catalogues
PROJECT Development & PRODUCTION
Every project has its own unique timeline, requirements and deliverables. We support artists with each phase of the project, from artwork development to delivery. This includes:
Conducting research on concepts, fabrication and equipment
Devising project proposals
Acting as the first point of contact with external suppliers from our growing network (e.g. fabricators, studio assistants, photographers, technicians, et al)
Overseeing production timelines and deliverables
Strategy & Career Development
Staying up-to-date with ongoing projects can often take time away from big picture planning. We support artists by scouting opportunities that can advance their practice and lead them to the next big thing. This includes:
Reviewing and advising on funding and grant applications
Identifying and advising on career development opportunities, such as institutional partnerships, awards, prizes and residency programmes
Advising on commercial opportunities, such as brand partnerships, sponsorships and other collaborations
Carrying out communications and designing relevant proposals
Communications
We work closely with artists to ensure that all visual or written materials about them and their work accurately reflect their practice and ethos. This includes:
Managing incoming press requests and liaising with press contacts
Reviewing and editing communication materials, such as press releases and exhibition texts
Editing and updating CV and artist bio
Overseeing catalogue production and publications from start to finish
Updating artist website where needed
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
For artists, galleries, institutions.
Project management is our bread and butter. We take on individual projects no matter the duration or scale. From managing a production budget or working on a project proposal to producing exhibitions and catalogues, our team has the know-how, skill-set and experience to efficiently bring your vision to life.
ART PARTNERSHIPS
For brands.
We work with brands to realise ambitious projects. From cultural placemaking to identifying institutions and artists to align with, we consult on and coordinate multi-level and multi-partner innovations.
We can conceive and co-produce creative campaigns that showcase your brand’s identity, expand your clientele, reach new audiences and enrich your creative portfolio.
CONSULTING
For artists, museums, academic institutions.
We are always happy to offer our advice on how to navigate the art world. Our sector can be confusing and mysterious, but it doesn’t have to be.
We offer 1-1 mentoring sessions to artists and give talks and workshops to museums, residency programmes and academic institutions.
